Apprentice (Construction)

• Assist the Construction Manager to carry out site supervision, inspection and coordination work among the sub-contractors.

• Liaise with client’s representative, and be responsible for checking building materials compliance against contract requirements to make sure the construction qualities meet standard.

• Prepare site progress reports & site logbooks and issue site memos to concerned parties for follow up actions.

• Monitor the compliance of workplace safety and health in site operations.

• Completed HKDSE (Under the New Academic Structure (NAS)) or equivalent.

• Successful candidates would be employed under a Contract of Apprenticeship according to the Apprenticeship Ordinance. During the three year apprenticeship, candidates would undergo on-the-job training and complete specific programmes (Diploma of Foundation Studies (Engineering) AND/OR Higher Diploma in Building Studies / Civil Engineering).

• Upon completion of the scheme, successful candidates would be eligible to join Hip Hing talent programs so as to be nurtured with essential competences to be a Construction Manager of our Construction Projects.
