Healthcare Investment Analyst, Private Equity

Location: Shanghai, China


Are you a highly motivated and analytical individual with a passion for the healthcare sector? We are looking for a talented Investment Analyst to join an esteemed healthcare investment team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to dive deep into the healthcare industry and contribute to identifying and evaluating promising investment opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive research across various healthcare sub-sectors, including biotech, medical devices, healthcare services, and digital health.
  • Develop detailed financial models to assess the financial performance and valuation of potential investment targets, including DCF modelling.
  • Prepare investment memos and materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in the due diligence process through company and industry research, financial statement analysis, and evaluating operational performance.
  • Support the monitoring and management of existing portfolio companies by tracking financial performance and market developments.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (healthcare background is a plus).
  • 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or consulting, focusing on healthcare.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation techniques, and financial modelling.
  • Deep interest and knowledge of the healthcare industry, including trends, key players, and regulatory environments.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, with proficiency in articulating complex ideas clearly.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is required .
