• Lead the audits functions within PHKL and PGHK under Group and local IFRS financial reporting
• Review and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with SOX requirements
• Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to management and the audit committee
• Actively engage external auditors and Group SOX team to manage the audit scope, status and timeline
• Collaborate with process owners to ensure alignment on the submission to auditor and proper documentation of all significant processes
• Actively manage the open deficiencies identified in prior year/current year. For any control deficiency, plan and coordinate the remediation actions with different process owners.
• Develop the knowledge of audit, process & control within the team

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in an accounting or actuarial related field
• Over 12 years of experience in the insurance finance industry
• Over 5 years of financial services audit experience. Experience with a major firm is preferred
• Knowledge of IFRS 17
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of accounting software (e.g. SAP, SUN GL)
• Knowledge of database management tool (e.g. SQL, Alteryx)
