Scope

To assist with implementation of leasing strategies and achieve optimal rents and tenancy mix for Sands retail malls whilst ensuring that grants meet all legal and commercial obligations.

What You Will Do

• Source leading and potential retailers in the emerging retail market landscape and conduct lease negotiations
• Research and identify various market segments and conduct analysis
• Monitor and research consumer trends and shopping behaviors and data
• Create competitor studies along with the competitive landscape
• Ensure occupancy levels and rentals for the desired mall are optimized
• Provide support to Retail Strategy with formulating trade mix plan i.e. brands review & selection to maximize rental and occupancy
• Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of leasing reports
• Work closely with the Grant Administration Team to ensure all standard grants and letters of offer terms are in accordance with company policy and are administered in a fair, legally correct, prudent and commercially astute manner
• Other duties as assigned

What We Expect From You

• Bachelor's degree or above is preferred
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience for large scale shopping malls
• Knowledge of retail industry, especially the Hong Kong and Macao markets
• Legal understanding within the retail industry
• Good negotiation, interpersonal, organizational and active listening skills
• Good team player, detail-oriented, able to work under pressure and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Proficient in IT applications such as Microsoft Office, with knowledge in CAD is advantageous
• Some business travel to Macau may be required from you
• You will be based in Hong Kong for this role
