The role:
Our leading US buyside client is seeking Recruitment Coordinator & Onboarding Specialist in Hong Kong.
Summary of the role and key responsibilities:
Recruitment Coordination
- Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and ensure alignment with recruitment strategies.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate and timely reporting of recruitment metrics.
Onboarding Management
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing onboarding materials, scheduling orientation sessions, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new employees, providing guidance on company policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Facilitate introductions to team members and key stakeholders to enhance the onboarding experience.
Communication and Support
- Foster strong relationships with candidates and new hires, ensuring a welcoming and engaging onboarding experience.
- Conduct follow-up surveys with new hires to gather feedback on the recruitment and onboarding processes, identifying areas for improvement.
- Assist in planning and coordinating employee engagement activities and events to promote a positive workplace culture.
Key skills required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in recruitment coordination, onboarding, or a related HR role, in the financial services or asset management industry.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
