The Royal Garden

Job Summary

The Accountant manages the financial operations of the hotel, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and efficient cash flow management. This position plays a vital role in budgeting, auditing, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and provide analysis of variances against budgeted performance.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage incoming and outgoing payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Reconcile vendor invoices and manage employee expense reimbursements.
  • Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits and implement recommended changes for financial processes.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and hotel policies.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, including food and beverage, supplies, and equipment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sun System).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications: CPA or equivalent is a plus.
