Our client is a leading manufacturer specializing in the production of high-quality electronic components, as well as metal and plastic solutions. They are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer/ Assistant Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance for new product introductions and manufacturing processes. This position requires presence at the China factory during weekdays. The company offers comprehensive support, including transportation, accommodation, and meal provisions for all employees.

Job Duties

• Oversee the quality assurance of new product introductions and manufacturing processes, including metal stamping and plastic molding.
• Analyze production reports and conduct inspections to identify and address quality issues.
• Diagnose problems during product development and manufacturing, implementing necessary corrective measures.
• Perform benchmarking and market analysis to elevate quality standards.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including internal teams, suppliers, and customers, to resolve production-related challenges.
• Manage customer complaints effectively, improving internal standards and providing timely responses to complaints.
• Proactively identify potential quality risks during new product introduction and mass production phases.
• Handle any ad-hoc projects as required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science and Technology or Mechanical Engineering.
• Good command in spoken and written Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
• Experience in quality control and mechanical engineering is advantageous.
• Familiarity with quality tools, ISO systems, and Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.
• Frequently travel/ Station in Mainland China.
