Pharmacist/Assistant Pharmacist (Temporary for 1 year)
Less exp candidate can be considered as Assistant Pharmacist
Key Responsibilities
Perform and supervise drug distribution activities at hospital and affiliated clinic to ensure clinical appropriateness and accuracy of individual patient’s drug treatment;
Support the implementation of Hospital and Pharmacy policies, guidelines and procedures as well as professional standards;
Maintain overall responsibility for Pharmacy operation in assigned areas; contribute to and maintain good working relationship with other healthcare professionals;
Deliver and maintain clinical pharmacy services such as drug information, patient education & healthcare professional training, etc. to ensure rational and effective drug use in accordance with contemporary standards and best practice;
Supervise and maintain appropriate supply and inventory management and support related inventory control activities including drug replenishment, stock take, etc.; and
Assist Director of Pharmacy / Principal Pharmacist in monitoring of medication safety, performance of evaluations and audits, implementation of quality improvement initiatives, and other duties assigned
Job Requirements
Degree Holder in Pharmacy or equivalent
Registered Pharmacist with a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Hong Kong
At least 2 years’ post-registration experience; less experienced candidate can be considered as Assistant Pharmacist
Enthusiastic, self-motivated and highly organized
Good communication and computer skills
Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
Knowledge in hospital pharmacy operations and Pharmacy IT systems
Compensation and Employment Terms
