Conduct routine on-site surveillance reviews at Branches
Provide quality assurance advisory to banking business & operations units
Minimum 3 years’ banking experience in branch QA functions, audit and compliance
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine on-site surveillance reviews at Branches, monitor and report on branch compliance issues
Provide quality assurance advisory to banking business & operations units. Collaborate with different departments teams and closely work with internal staff to ensure alignment and coordination of in-house compliance review, surveillance program activities, training and education programs
Gather, analyze, prepare management reporting materials and monitor quality surveillance results, trends and identify control deficiencies. Facilitate sharing and training of quality assurance knowledge to business teams
Prepare in-house compliance reviews report to highlight exceptions and provide recommendations for ongoing improvement to the branch operations & control, and service delivery.
Monitor and track the implementation of relevant recommendations and ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
Carry out support investigation at the request from management, of high severity customer complaints; operational incidents, and compile reports for internal and external stakeholder;
Continuously improve the in-house compliance reviews functions by implementing best practices, enhancing assurance & surveillance framework methodologies, and leveraging business teams and technology tools etc.
Perform ad-hoc project task as assigned
Requirements:
University graduate in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Law or related discipline
Minimum 3 years’ banking experience in branch QA functions, audit and compliance & controls
Conversant with the banking rules and regulatory requirements
Sound knowledge of branch operation and risk in retail banking
Strong reporting writing , analytical and interpersonal skills
Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
Proficiency in MS Office Applications and Chinese Word Processing
Candidate with less experience will be considered for Manager, Branch Management (Quality Assurance, Branch Control & Operations)
