Assistant Cross-border Business Manager - Wealth Products Management Department
The job holder is responsible for assisting (Senior) Cross-border Business Managers to execute cross-border business strategies and initiatives to grow the cross-border customer base and enhance cross-border customer journey for the Division. Work as a team to perform customer acquisition, portfolio growth and management, while implementing all initiatives are in compliance with the Bank’s internal process and procedures, as well as the latest guidelines from regulators in Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland.
Responsibilities
Assist Senior Cross-border Business Manager and/or Cross-border Business Manager to implement the business plan on cross-border customer acquisitions, as well as portfolio and revenue growth;
Assist to implement customer centric cross-border journey;
Enhance, and implement various business models to improve customer services and experience at branches;
Support SQL script development and user acceptance tests for system and platform enhancement;
Support partnership programs and design the relevant referral mechanism for on ongoing customer acquisition;
Assist timely business analytics for identifying trends and triggers for ongoing refinement of strategies and initiatives;
Liaise and work seamlessly with internal stakeholders to drive cross-border initiatives;
Prepare marketing materials to support customer acquisition, engagement and retention programs;
Provide support to frontline on daily cross-border business operations;
Coordinate with teammates among departments to meet the planned business goals while promoting a strong teamwork culture;
Communicate and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders in implementing business initiatives in a timely and effective manner;
Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity;
Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work; and
Perform ad hoc tasks or projects for supervisors as required from time to time.
Requirements
Post-secondary or above, preferably with University Degree;
Minimum 2 years’ of experience in the banking sector or financial industry, preferably in wealth management products development or management, segment management, business management, product marketing, or distribution and sales support management;
Sound knowledge Cross-border business, which includes product / segment management, project management, process and system enhancement in banking or financial services industry;
Good understanding of relevant bank’s wealth management products & services;
A team player with good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills; strong command of written and verbal English and Chinese, fluent speaking in Putonghua is a must;
Independent, self-motivated, and detail-oriented;
Relevant HKIB qualification is an advantage ;
HKIB Certified Bankers preferred;
A good team player with proficiency in Microsoft Office software and SQL script development; and
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
