The Department
Our Catering Department manages one of the largest and most diverse catering operations in Hong Kong. We provide a wide range of catering, sports and recreation facilities for Members and their guests in three Clubhouses. In addition, both Happy Valley and Sha Tin Racecourses have numerous catering facilities used by Members, non-members and corporate organizations for a variety of functions.

The Job
You will:

• Responsible for doing all daily repairs and maintenance works assigned to him in full respect to health and safety procedures, quality and efficiency of work.
• Retrieving and completing work order as per policies and procedures.
• Reporting any discrepancies, unsolved problems, new observed or discovered engineering problem immediately to his superiors.
• Obtaining all necessary information, documentation and instruction to ensure the most efficient and have full understanding of the work to be performed.
• Implementing preventive maintenance for equipment, facilities and ensure suitable tools and materials are available.
• To follow all other instructions, rules and regulations as implemented by Membership Facilities Management Team.
• To understand that additional duties may be established by the Duty Engineer to meet the operational needs and expected to perform in depth repairs and maintenance and to be able to read and understand the relevant technical publication.
• The employee is required to abide to all occupational health and safety regulations, practices, rules and procedures.

About You
You should have:

• Apprenticeship or certificate in engineering trade (Mechanic, electrical, electronics, plant mechanic, civil work)
• Holder of Registered Electrical Worker License (Grade A or above)
• A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in in hotel, clubhouse or other equivalent class of properties.
• Technical knowledge in air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration systems, plumbing system and control circuit, BMS and fire systems

Terms of employment
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
