(1)TECHNICAL OFFICER (CIVIL)
Requirements:
Diploma or Higher Certificate in Civil Engineering from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or a technical institute, or equivalent.

To prepare civil engineering drawing suing AutoCAD and simple design, conduct site visits and/or other duties, under direct instruction and supervision of the HD’s Chief Civil Engineer or his representative.

(2) WORKS SUPERVISOR (CIVIL)
Requirements:
Diploma or Certificate in Civil or Structural Engineering from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University or a technical institute, or equivalent .

To assist in supervision of site works and prepare site reports, take, keep and update site records, and/or other duties under direct instruction and supervision of HD’s Chief Civil Engineer or his representative.

Possession of the following certificates is also required:
(1) A valid Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card) issued according to Section 6BA(2) of the Factories and Industrial Undertaking Ordinance, or equivalent;
(2) A valid Certificate of Certified Worker issued according to Section 4(1) of the Factories and Industrial Undertakings (Confined Space) Regulations.
