Description
Lead the R&D team in designing, prototyping, and testing innovative connector solutions.
Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for product development aligned with market trends and customer demands.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, sales) to bring products from concept to production.
Identify emerging technologies and materials to enhance connector performance, reliability, and sustainability.
Manage R&D budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver projects on schedule and within scope.
Stay ahead of industry standards, regulations, and competitor advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
Mentor and grow a high-performing team of engineers and researchers.
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
10+ years of experience in R&D, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record in developing connector technologies or related electromechanical components.
Deep understanding of materials science, electrical systems, and manufacturing processes.
Strong project management skills with experience overseeing complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach to innovation.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to inspire teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., MIL-SPEC, IP ratings, RoHS) is a plus.
