Description

  • Lead the R&D team in designing, prototyping, and testing innovative connector solutions.
  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for product development aligned with market trends and customer demands.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, sales) to bring products from concept to production.
  • Identify emerging technologies and materials to enhance connector performance, reliability, and sustainability.
  • Manage R&D budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver projects on schedule and within scope.
  • Stay ahead of industry standards, regulations, and competitor advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Mentor and grow a high-performing team of engineers and researchers.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in R&D, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in developing connector technologies or related electromechanical components.
  • Deep understanding of materials science, electrical systems, and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong project management skills with experience overseeing complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach to innovation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to inspire teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., MIL-SPEC, IP ratings, RoHS) is a plus.
