Job Overview

This role supports the Finance team in maintaining smooth financial operations. We assist with maintaining business records, verifying invoices and statements, and performing financial analyses with data. This role is ideal for individuals who are meticulous, value hands-on experiences, and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome to the core of what being an Accounting Assistant is all about!

Here's the quick lowdown on what you'll do day-to-day:

  • Assist in cashiering function in performance of house bank audits and recommend procedural changes where necessary to correct deficiencies
  • Perform cash counting and deposits
  • Prepare daily general cashier report
  • Handle cash/credit card receipts and preparing settlement
  • Review restaurant and bar transactions, reconcile with POS and PMS system for the variance
  • Prepare schedule and reconciliation
  • Assist in month-end closing on a timely basis for Management decision making
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties

Requirements

Here's exactly what you need to excel in this role:

The Non-Negotiables (Must-Haves):

  • At least 2 years’ working experience in hospitality industry, experienced in Income Audit/ General Cashier is preferred (Fresh Graduates are also welcome)
  • Candidate with more experience will be considered as Accounting Officer
  • Diploma or above in Accounting or relevant professional qualification
  • Familiar with PMS / POS is preferred
  • Mature, independent and detail-minded
  • Good team player and communication skills
  • Good command of English & Chinese is essential
