Reporting Line: Associate Director, Finance


Job Purpose

The job purpose is to support financial planning and budgeting, prepare financial and management reporting to aid decision-making, ensure governance and compliance with regulatory requirements, system implementation and collaborate with other departments and AISL Harrow Schools.


Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Budgeting of Headquarters

  • Prepare and Support the financial planning and budgeting of Headquarters


Financial and Management Reporting to support decision making

  • Prepare and submit various monthly/termly/semi-annual/annual reports for management review of various business lines on a timely basis
  • Prepare and submit the monthly consolidated financial and management reports in accordance with applicable financial reporting standards, company’s internal control and financial policies on a timely basis
  • Perform financial analysis on business performance


Ensure Governance and Compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Assist external statutory audit


System

  • To maintain/implement effective ERP systems and Data Analytics platform


Others

  • To liaise with internal and external stakeholders such as staff members at AISL Harrow Schools and companies of the Group, and auditors
  • Perform other duties and ad-hoc tasks as assigned


Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or related disciplines
  • Qualified accountant is an advantage
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in financial planning and management reporting, preferably gained from multinational corporations or reputable CPA firms
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Financial Analyst
  • Solid knowledge in International Financial Reporting Standards
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, responsible with good analytical skills
  • Proven organization skills, ability to prioritise and able to work under pressure
  • Proficient computer literacy, especially in EXCEL; knowledge in ERP system, like MS Dynamics 365, is an advantage
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Good teamwork
  • Immediately available is an advantage
