Major Duties:
(a) To assist in audio recording, sound-editing, and photo post-production editing for teaching, publicity projects and website updating;
(b) To perform graphical design tasks such as banners, backdrops, leaflets, website icons, buttons and support the campus marketing team;
(c) To provide support in technical setup, rehearsals, and operation of audio / video (AV) equipment for campus events;
(d) To assist in the procurement, inventory control, and maintenance of AV equipment, as well as the design and setup of audio and video infrastructure for teaching room renovation projects;
(e) To maintain and operate the unit's laser cutting and engraving machine;
(f) To maintain and develop unit management information systems (job calendar and equipment loan) and AV control system; and
(g) To setup and operate Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) equipment in the Learning Resource Centre, providing support and guidance for students.

Requirements:
(a) A recognised diploma or higher certificate in Digital Media, Multimedia, or related discipline;
(b) At least 2 years’ relevant work experience;
(c) Proficiency in using Windows PC and Mac, Microsoft office and Chinese input;
(d) Familiar with computer programming language such as PHP, C#, Python will be advantage;
(e) Good knowledge in desktop publishing software such as adobe illustrator, photoshop;
(f) Good command of spoken and written in both English and Chinese; and
(g) Self-motivated and ability to work independently and as a team member.

Notes:

(1) Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply.
(2) Shortlisted candidate(s) may be required to attend a trade test.
(3) Candidate(s) should specify their related skills and knowledge of equipment / software and related work experience in the CVs.
(4) The appointee(s) may be required to perform shift duties or work in irregular working hours and at different work locations on a need basis.
