Purpose of Role

The purpose of this role is leading the apparel product manufacturing minutes calculation by using General Sewing Data (GSD) software to define the UA product minutes for apparel costing and to ensure vendors apply relevant SMV on UA apparel products.

Teammates in this role need to communicate and drive the negotiation with vendors to achieve our expected SMV in the seasonal audit process and apply their industrial engineering knowledge to identify areas for continuous improvement in SMV and cost.

This role enables the broader costing organization to prioritize actionable areas and optimize profitability.

Qualifications

  • Non- Degree Tertiary, Graduated from Certificate or above in Textile & Apparel, specialized in Apparel Industrial Engineering
  • 10+ years of progressive work in the garment or textile industry in Apparel Industrial Engineering
  • Certified as licensed GSD practitioner is a must, capability to use General Sewing Data software/ system is a MUST;
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Proficient in MS Office applications especially in Excel
