Client Details
Our client is a rapid expanding Europe e-commerce business. They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager for the Internal Control & Compliance team. This critical role will ensure the integrity of our financial processes and operational practices through the implementation, evaluation, and enhancement of internal controls. You will work collaboratively across departments to drive compliance and operational excellence.
Description
Conduct thorough asset and inventory validations to ensure accuracy and integrity within our systems.
Assess and quantify manufacturing costs while identifying risks associated with processes and controls, recommending best practices for improvement.
Review and enhance existing accounting and financial controls, ensuring relevance and efficacy in alignment with industry standards.
Execute internal control assessments to verify adherence to Financial Policies and Procedures (FPP).
Independently develop audit plans, perform audits, analyze results, and present identified risks using a quantitative approach.
Recommend business practices and improvements in workflows to minimise or eliminate key risks, particularly focusing on validation of assets, including inventory, buildings, machinery & equipment, procurement processes, and compliance within supply chain management.
Provide actionable recommendations and solutions aimed at increasing the efficiency of internal processes and controls.
Collaborate with functional teams to minimise operational risks and associated losses, ensuring that significant incidents are investigated and rectified to prevent future occurrences.
Work closely with finance departments to ensure prompt implementation of Corrective Action Plans (CAP) identified in Group Internal Audit (GIA) reports.
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., HKICPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is required.
Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience is a must-have.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounting, Internal Control, or Internal Audit, ideally within the manufacturing or industrial sectors.
Must be skilled in independently developing audit plans, performing audits, analyzing audit results, and presenting risks in a quantitative manner.
Experience with external audits from Big 4 or second-tier firms is a plus.
Familiarity with Manufacturing and eCommerce practices is advantageous.
Proven ability to recommend business practices and improvements in workflows to minimize or eliminate key risks.
Excellent communication skills are a must, with a focus on effective and timely communication at various organizational levels.
Willingness and ability to travel within the APAC region is required, with an expected travel commitment of 30-50% to factories in Vietnam and surrounding areas.

Strong team-oriented mentality and interpersonal skills, capable of cultivating strong working relationships across the organization.
