Logistics Manager

Purpose of the Job
The Logistics Manager oversees the operations of warehouse, fleet operation and system, ensuring the efficient and effective operations. The role holder will be responsible to design, develop and implement the logistics plan to meet business unit requirement while optimising costs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct daily operational activities with inhouse staff and external third-party service providers, which include inbound and outbound logistics, distribution, inventory management, etc.
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff and fleet operations staff to meet business unit requirement
- Monitor and assess the logistics operation by KPIs
- Identify improvement areas of logistics operation and develop and execute the implantation plan to enhance efficiency
- Monitor inventory levels and implement effective stock control procedures
- Address business unit inquiries related to delivery issues and manage ad-hoc projects as needed
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
Requirements
- Degree holder with at least 10-year experience of Supply Chain Management/ Logistics Management
- 3-5 Years of hands-on experience in logistics operation and management
- Proven experience in managing third-party logistics providers and vendors
- Experience with Warehouse Management System, such as Yon You
- Fluent in written and spoken Cantonese and English
- Strong people management and communication skills.
- Candidate with less experience with be considered as Assistant Logistics Manager
