Lab Academy is an education centre that places utmost importance in developing children's love and right attitude towards learning. We have a 20 year track record that goes beyond language training. Our aim is to broaden students' understanding of various fields while increasing their confidence in the English language.

We are now looking for high calibre candidates who are passionate about teaching English and are determined to develop a career in education.

JOB DUTIES

• Teach Phonics, Reading classes to students k2 up (Max 5 students in each class)
• Track students' progress
• Maintain good level of communication, discuss and follow up with parents relevant activities to to be done at home to aid the learning process
• Inspire students and parents to stay committed and consistent with the learning process
• Work closely with other teachers by sharing resources, ideas, and best practices
• Effectively plan lessons, manage classroom activities and student behaviour
• Ensure that topics are covered within the allotted time
• Report and share class details with supervisors
• Help in developing new curriculum

JOB REQUIREMENT

• 2 to 3 years of solid experience teaching English courses other than examination-oriented courses.
• University degree
• TEFL/TESOL or similar certificate holder preferred
• Able to work on Saturdays
• Be cordial and possess good people’s skills
• Passionate about developing children’s overall language and social skills.
• Able to interview in Hong Kong
• Able to speak Cantonese or Mandarin

WORK SCHEDULE

• Full Time: Tuesdays to Saturdays

Yearly Schedule

• The center is closed for 6 weeks of the year (distributed along major holidays except Summer)
