Great career opportunity for a Project Manager / Business Analyst to join a Prestigious Investment Bank in their Capital Markets IT Department. My client is looking for an IT Business Analyst / IT Project Manager that is well versed in Agile Methodologies that has a sound understanding of financial products across a range of asset classes. This is a new role that has been created due to strong business growth in the APAC region.

Responsibilities:

• Drive overall programme status for selected projects ensure all technology deliveries and outputs are completed according to plan
• Keep effective communication and maintain good relationship with all project stakeholders, including business, Finance Change, Global programme managers and other IT counterparts.
• Co-ordinate with development teams to deliver and implement system solutions.
• Drive the successful delivery, providing end-end project leadership, planning and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Proactively manage changes to scope of deliveries, identify potential crisis, and devise contingency plans.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of Capital Markets traded products, trade life cycle and processing flows
• Strong delivery manager with solid experience gained in an investment banking environment.
• Excellent Project Management skills with proven track record working across full life cycle on large scale projects which involve many dependent systems teams up and downstream of the application being built
• Understanding of Agile Methodologies
• Strong Interpersonal Skills
• Experience and ability to make technical design/implementation decisions
