Description:

• Responsible for defining the software frameworks, development methods and tools to support the advanced digital solutions as part of a large-scale application development project and contributing to the overall direction of the solution and the design. The incumbent is accountable for leading the architecture design to guiding the design implementation for the various components making up the solution. The incumbent will be involved in running the design deliberations with the product owners, scrum teams and business architects and is expected to hold relevant architectural and design spikes to clarify and complete the design of the product.
• Responsible for maintaining the long-term architecture roadmap of the product and be part of the team with the product owners to assess and define the features for each sprint. The incumbent will be seen as the technology advocate and will be expected to participate in the scrum meetings to provide guidance/assistance to the development resources. He/she will be involved in the following scope of duties:
• Design and architect the end-to-end BSS/OSS solutions, including integration with other systems such as CRM, Campaign Management, Customer Data Platform, Customer Order Management, Customer Information Management, Customer 360 View, Product Catalog, Resource Management, etc.
• Design solution from scratch, including building core components, business processes, data model, integration points with other systems, interface definition and protocol. Define related implementation and migration plans considering all functional and non-functional requirements such as access management, security, disaster recovery, reporting requirements, etc.
• Manage the design of Epics, User Stories and the agreed MVP for the respective releases and provide a roadmap of those designs before the relevant sprint • Manage the overall solution from a technical perspective and support the technical design and technical testing by providing guidelines and assistance to enable solution development and implementation • Expected to be hands-on and be involved in the day to day development and running of the design sprints that will be organised for the various product components

Requirements:

• The successful candidate should have extensive working experience with designing and implementing end-to-end BSS/OSS components in a systems integrator capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
• A minimum of 10 years experience in the IT profession
• Strong experience in BSS and/or OSS systems, processes and software solutions in ONE of the following specialised areas; o Customer Information Management / Customer 360 o Service and Order Management o Online Charge System/Billing o Salesforce/Vlocity
• Experience in BSS/OSS systems, processes and software solutions such as Sales and Order Management, Subscriber Management, Service Provisioning, Rating and Billing, Omni-Channel, Digitalization
• Technical knowledge in the following areas:
• Application frameworks for cloud application development and integration, web/mobile digital services and APIs o Java development (Angular 9+, JavaScript, Restful API, Springboot experience)
• Working knowledge in the latest technologies and trends such as Cloud services, Data Lakes etc.
• Experience in CRM package solutions such as SalesForce or Vlocity is advantageous
• Familiar with implementing micro-services and hands-on experience in delivering distributed processing systems
• Experience in system analysis, design and the entire SDLC implementation in the Communications and/or Media projects
• Experience in the development of large architectural plans using the agile framework and DevOps model
• Good leadership, analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude, fast-learning, energetic, able to perform in a challenging environment
• Effective verbal and written communication in English (and Cantonese is preferred but not essential) and excellent presentation skills
