Hong Kong RO Recruitment Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Responsible Officer (RO) specializing in Hong Kong securities brokerage to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company’s compliance with regulatory requirements across all business activities, while providing strategic support, guidance, and decision-making for the company’s growth and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the execution of securities trading, order management, market-making, or institutional brokerage services. Oversee compliance-related tasks for trades in Hong Kong stocks, US equities, derivatives (options/futures), and structured products.

Utilize compliance tools proficiently to monitor compliance, conduct audit rectifications, and prepare regulatory reports. Draft or revise internal control policies, including the company’s compliance manual and risk management guidelines.

Independently handle SFC periodic inspections (e.g., Financial Resources Rules (FRR), Client Asset Segregation (CASS) audits) and other critical external regulatory engagements, as well as emergency response matters related to company operations.

Requirements (Mandatory):

Bachelor’s degree or higher; MBA/Finance degree preferred.

Passed HKSI licensing examinations with a clean regulatory record throughout career.

Minimum 5 years of experience in securities business at a Hong Kong licensed institution (e.g., brokerage, asset management firm), including at least 2 years in an RO or Deputy RO role.

Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide actionable advice.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex operational challenges independently.
