Our client is one of the largest charity organisations in Hong Kong and it has played a strong role in building the city's civil society throughout the last century.

Description

The role involves assisting the Department Head in overseeing the functions of the Department and managing all fundraising event programs to support the strategic development of the organization.

In accordance to the organization-wide annual event planning, the Manager will lead a small team to plan and implement fundraising campaigns, and to formulate marketing plans to draw awareness and attendance to these activities. The Manager will also use his/her resource development skills and result-oriented mindset to broaden the donor database, enhance fundraising effectiveness, engage donors to explore new opportunities for donations, and carry out general administrative duties, including departmental management and staff supervision.

Profile

The ideal candidate will hold a recognized university degree and have at least 8 years of experience in fundraising, marketing, public relations, or event management, including supervisory roles. They should possess a background in large-scale event management, particularly fundraising campaigns, and have an established social network within the commercial sector as a definite advantage. The candidate must be able to work independently on multiple tasks while meeting tight deadlines, demonstrate excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese, and exhibit strong analytical and writing abilities. Additionally, they should be proactive, passionate about their work, mature, and capable of working under pressure.
