Job Highlights

We are looking for the following experienced professional who is capable of carrying out supervision and co-ordination work for a new complex comprising a student hostel and staff quarters in The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shatin: - 
 

Resident Clerk of Works (Ref._22001RCOW) 
 

  • Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building Studies from the Construction Industry Council in Hong Kong / Hong Kong Institute of Construction / Hong Kong Polytechnic / Hong Kong Polytechnic University / Hong Kong Technical College/ Hong Kong Technical Institute / Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, or equivalent / Engineering qualifications; 

 

  • 8 years’ relevant post-qualification experience, experience in residential project would be an advantage; 

 

  • Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2* or above in English Language and Chinese Language in Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) / Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or equivalent; 

    [Note * Grade E in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in previous HKCEE are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 2 in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.] 

 

  • Degree, certificate, Dip or higher Dip in occupational safety and health or in construction safety 

 

  • Met Minimum qualifications and experience required for Grade ‘T3’ of TAP-TCP – Technically Competent Person under AP stream, equivalent as stipulated in the Code of Practice for Site Supervision 2009 (2024 Edition), to supervise the modular unit production works; 

 

  • Travel to Mainland China is required (to supervise fabrication of MiC unit and pre-cast element outside Hong Kong) ; 

 

  • Experience in the supervision of modular unit production works is preferred.

 

 

Employment will be on a contract basis for a period of 30 months commencing from July 2025 tentatively with possible extension subject to works condition. The remuneration package will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualification and experience.
