Responsibilities
As a rewards specialist, review the Bank’s Reward programs to maintain its market competitiveness and effectiveness in delivering the overall people strategy, by keeping abreast of the market trend and evolving regulatory requirements
Partner with other rewards team members to develop, review and deliver competitive and cost-effective Reward programs to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee value proposition
Prepare relevant management papers and proposals for internal approvals.Coordinate with relevant parties to ensure compliance with internal governance requirements
Lead regular compensation review exercise to reward good performers, attract high-calibre personnel and achieve staff retention purpose by developing and implementing performance-based pay plans and other incentive compensation practices
Partner with Business HR to deliver appropriate reward solutions and policies in line with business needs and strategies.Keep abreast of line’s feedback via closely work with BHR, maximizing the outcome of solution
Lead various initiatives for HKMA compliance purpose from reward perspectives and coordinate internal stakeholder engagement / approval
Drive internal communication, with the objective to help HR colleagues better understand the Bank’s reward programs and policies, including preparing communication materials and coordinating with relevant channels, updating staff handbook, and conducting briefing sessions
Lead local market implementation and customization of group rewards initiatives
Work with other HR colleagues to support Hong Kong people initiatives and projects
This role would have opportunity to work with stakeholders in Hong Kong and other markets on compensation and benefits matters
Requirements
Minimum 10 years’ experience in rewards related areas, preferably in the banking industry and / or with professional consultancy companies
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Organizational and planning skills
Communication and interpersonal skills
Solid knowledge in internal HR policies and procedures within banking industry
