Key Responsibilities

• Assess and adjudicate mortgage and retail loan applications in compliance with the Bank’s credit policies, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements.
• Exercise credit approval authority within delegated limits, ensuring sound lending decisions while balancing risk and business growth objectives.
• Collaborate with business units, risk management teams, and external stakeholders to facilitate efficient and prudent credit evaluation.
• Support the enhancement of credit policies, approval workflows, and retail lending guidelines to improve operational efficiency.
• Streamline credit approval processes and contribute to automation initiatives for faster turnaround times.
• Oversee administrative tasks related to loan documentation, reporting, and compliance to ensure seamless execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
• At least 6 years of credit assessment experience in retail banking, with proven approval authority in mortgage and/or personal lending.
• Good credit analysis skills with the ability to interpret financial data, assess risk, and make sound lending decisions.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
• Self-driven with the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Chinese word processing.
• Good in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin proficiency is an advantage).
