Responsibilities:

  • Perform actuarial pricing and ongoing monitoring of Employee Benefits (Group Life and Group Medical)
  • Perform experience study & assumption review and maintain health data inventory to support group product pricing
  • Communicate clearly with other teams to ensure business objectives are met
  • Monitor EB product profitability
  • Liaise with reinsurer for reinsurance management
  • Support ad hoc project and initiatives

Qualifications:

  • University graduate, major in Actuarial Science/Mathematics/Statistics
  • 2 years' experience in the insurance industry, person with less experience will be considered for the actuarial assistant position
  • Details oriented and with great time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong communication skills, particularly relating to business considerations and using non-technical jargon
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Programming skills (R, VBA and SQL) and database skill a plus
  • In pursuit of actuarial qualification
