Business:                     Toys trading company with office in HK, China and UK.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate product designs developed by PD department or directly from customers, to ensure compliance to international Toy safety standards, alert Development team of matters found and advise changes and improvements to be made.
• Advise improvements to product designs to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Evaluate physical samples of new products in relation International Toy Safety Standards and other safety standards. Write and create records of evaluations made. 
• Evaluate Pre-production and Gold seal samples for safety and quality.
• Test products in house against basic physical and mechanical standards requirements. Write and create records of evaluations made. 
• Alert the Quality Director of deviations of sample quality and risk of materials from specifications.
• Review and evaluate customer complaints and returns and report evaluations.  
• Travel to factories to evaluate manufacturing sample quality and production quality. 
• Learn and be aware of future changes to existing and new Toy Safety regulations changes.    
• Engage with testing laboratories on testing requirements and any issues arising from testing processes and outcomes.
• Advise and train the team on coming legislation that may affect product design.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree holder
• At least 3 years relevant experience in toys industry
• Familiar with the quality standard for Europe market
• Good communication, detail-minded, analytical and responsive
• Good command in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
• Willing to travel occasionally
