Our client, a distinguished property development company renowned for creating innovative and vibrant retail spaces. As they embark on exciting projects, including alterations and renovations of sizable shopping malls and the opening of new retail destinations, they are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (M&E) to join their dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in overseeing mechanical and electrical (M&E) aspects of alterations, additions, renovations, and new openings of shopping malls.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure that M&E designs meet project specifications and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Coordinate procurement and installation processes for M&E systems, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines for both renovation and new development initiatives.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety protocols and quality control measures are implemented effectively.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, schedules, and change orders.
  • Facilitate clear communication with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project alignment and successful outcomes.
  • Assist in identifying risks associated with projects and contribute to the development of risk mitigation strategies.

Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4 years of experience in project management, specifically focusing on M&E works within shopping mall renovations or new developments.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including design, installation, and maintenance practices.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools; experience with building information modeling (BIM) is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset, demonstrating attention to detail and quality.
