Company Description

We are a new launch of HK based hedge fund with a global mandate. The investment universe is generalist coverage with a tilt towards technology and consumer spaces. The founder had well established track record from a top-notch hedge fund in Hong Kong.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Consumer Analyst, located in Hong Kong SAR. The Consumer Analyst will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis on consumer markets, researching investment opportunities, and managing investment portfolios. The role also involves monitoring market trends, creating financial models, preparing reports, and presenting findings to the investment team.

Qualifications

• Strong Investments and Investment Management skills
• Excellent Analytical and Finance skills
• Experience in Fund Accounting
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience in the hedge fund industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field

• Develop deep, differentiated investment theses across global consumer and internet stocks
• Build proprietary models, track industry trends, and generate actionable trade ideas
• Work directly with the PM in a tight-knit, high-impact team

Who should apply

• 2-6 years of experience in equity research, investing, or a related field (buy-side preferred but not required)
• Demonstrated ability to generate alpha-driving insights (show us your work)
