Kennedys is looking for an Associate to join our Liability Defence team in Hong Kong. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, dynamic and global law firm.

We handle a wide range of casualty claims from minor slip and fall accidents to complex catastrophic accidents, as well property damage. Our clients include some of the largest insurers in the world and major employers in Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities

• Defending personal injury and liability claims including employees' compensation, public liability, motor and property damage.
• Advising insurers on policy coverage and insurance related issues.
• Handling complex cases involving catastrophic injuries, causation issues and novel duty of care arguments.
  
  
  

Requirements

• 1 – 2 years' post-qualification experience in Hong Kong.
• Must be a Hong Kong qualified solicitor with a strong background in defending injury and other casualty claims as well as insurance related work.
• Experienced in procedural rules and insurance matters and have the ability to manage fast-moving complex cases.
• Excellent command of English and Chinese and strong interpersonal skills.
• Adept at working both independently and within a team in a high paced environment.
