Excohk (遊展) is a local start-up media with a mission of democratizing art and cultural appreciation. While we maintain an active coverage of local events, we are also delivering marketing and event curation solutions to corporate clients.

You will be working closely with us and our collaboration partners in support of our content production work. You will gain hands-on experience and your work may be featured on our social platforms with 28K+ followers.

Responsibilities

• Carry out topic research and create engaging content
• Conduct site visits to local exhibitions and events
• Participate in interviews and assist in video shooting sessions
• Collaborate with clients in producing copywriting contents
• Seek and approach potential collaboration partners
• Manage daily operation of our digital content platforms and support on-site events if any
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• UGC-funded full-time undergraduate HKBU student with CGPA of 2.00 or above; Major in Arts, Social Science, or relevant disciplines is preferred but not required
• Excellent writing and communication skills in Traditional Chinese/Cantonese and English
• A proactive learner who can work independently and responsibly under pressure
• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in art and culture is a big plus
• Previous experience in article writing and editorial work is an advantage but not required
• Knowledge in Canva or Wix is an advantage but not required

This placement opportunity is exclusively available to HKBU students as part of a 3-unit course under the HKBU SSI Programme. Consequently, there will be no remuneration provided, but all transportation costs and any other work-related expenses will be fully reimbursed.
