Are you passionate about financial services? We are seeking an Assistant Product Manager to contribute to the development and implementation of innovative financial products.

Client Details

Our client is a leading Chinese Asset Manager in Hong Kong. They are well known for their commitment to innovation and excellence in the provision of asset management services.

Description

As an Assistant Product Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

· Product Management

  • Liaise with internal teams and external service providers on all product changes to meet regulatory requirements, commercial demands and other on-going obligations;
  • Ensure efficient and timely implementation of fund changes and enhancements.
  • · Product Development

  • Assist the senior in identifying market opportunities and new product ideas;
  • 2. Assist the senior in monitoring of market trends and demand by leveraging understanding of client needs and industry practice;

    3. Assist the senior in preparing the meeting material of Product Committee Meeting.

    Profile

    A successful Assistant Product Manager should have:

    • A degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
    • 2-3 years of relevant working experience in the asset management industry.
    • Hands-on experience in handling different product development projects with strong project management skills;
    • Knowledge of onshore and offshore fund structure and regulation (e.g. Cayman Private Fund, Hong Kong public fund, QDLP and UCITS);
    • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to build strong internal relationships;
    • An understanding of fund regulations and different fund structures in multiple jurisdictions (e.g. HK, Cayman and/or mainland China).
    • Good team player, sense of ownership, strategic business thinker, self-motivated, well-organized, good project management skills;
    • He/she must have the ability to establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product development and management projects are well-coordinated and efficiently implemented.
    • Good command of English and Chinese. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
