Position Summary:
My client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Assistant Trade Marketing Manager to join their team. In this role, you will support the Trade Marketing Manager in developing and executing trade marketing strategies that drive brand growth and enhance customer engagement. You will collaborate with various internal teams and external partners to ensure the successful implementation of promotional activities and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of trade marketing strategies to achieve sales and brand objectives.
  • Coordinate with sales teams to identify promotional opportunities and optimize product placement in retail environments.
  • Support the creation of in-store marketing materials, including point-of-sale displays and promotional signage.
  • Analyze trade promotions and their impact on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for future initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment of trade activities with brand messaging and overall marketing plans.
  • Manage budgets for trade marketing activities, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, competitive activity, and best practices in trade marketing.
  • Coordinate with external partners and vendors to execute promotional campaigns and events.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in trade marketing, brand management, or sales within the FMCG sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with trade marketing software or tools is a plus.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for developing innovative marketing solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
