A renowned China-based Bank in Hong Kong is looking for a high-caliber (Assistant) Data Management Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Identify business requirements, functions and roadmaps for data products, collaborating with data engineers, analysts and business stakeholders to achieve project goals and deliverables;

• Oversee the development of data processing framework to ensure data quality for supporting financial risk assessment, customer segmentation and banking services;

• Leverage financial data analysis skills to analyze comprehensive datasets, extract actionable insights for achieving high-standard business objectives;

• Monitor and analyze data performance metrics, such as data accuracy, user adoption rate and business impact in financial industry;

• Gather feedback from internal business stakeholders to ensure business continuity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, or related disciplines;

• At least 5 years of experience in data management, with experience in banking or financial industry is highly preferred;

• A proven track record of data management experience;

• In-depth understanding of financial data, including but not limited to transaction data, credit data and market data;

• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI);

• Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills to work across different levels of business stakeholders;

• Strong in multi-tasking ability with solid project management skills. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
