Job Purpose Summary :

The Core Services Support Officer supports the Trust Services team and senior management with primary responsibility for conducting periodic reviews of client files and trust structures for due diligence, risk management and regulatory compliance purposes


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities/Duties:

  • To undertake periodic file reviews of trust and company structures in accordance with our risk-based approach and AML/CFT requirements
  • To undertake CDD completeness checks to identify gaps and deficiencies and ensure they are up-to-date, and that SOW/SOF information is sufficient
  • To ensure that the account structure is correctly documented and that all CDD, agreements, trust and corporate documents and resolutions are stored and filed appropriately
  • To conduct risk assessments using our vPoint risk assessment workflow
  • To conduct World-Check screenings on trust-related parties and liaise with compliance department
  • To prepare FATCA and CRS classification checklists and related documentation
  • To ensure CDD and FATCA/CRS documentation are maintained in vPoint for record keeping purposes
  • To assist senior management in undertaking a review of the trust structures, investment management arrangements and activities on the accounts, ensuring these are in keeping with expectations
  • To record deficiencies and follow up actions in vPoint and co-ordinate remediation with the client services team and senior management
  • To observe and comply with our internal policies and procedures
  • To assist senior management with any ad hoc duties or projects as maybe required from time-to-time


Skills and Competencies :

  • Recognized university degree preferred
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably within a bank, trust or corporate service provider or professional firm
  • Strong working knowledge of AML/CFT requirements
  • Ability to communicate well and effectively in English and Cantonese, verbally and in writing
  • Good attention to detail, able to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn, with positive attitude, self-motivated and a team player
