Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with other departments on project implementations, front-end and back-end operation system enhancements to drive recommended solution to meet delivery deadlines.

  • Lead and Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), raise change requests / system enhancement and report testing problems / defects to IT development team and perform post implementation checking.

  • Work closely within the Agile development teams to ensure development of the backlog items prioritized for the sprint.

  • Lead the Business Analysis team to facilitate/coordinate with different key stakeholders to deliver project/system enhancement which best fit the needs of end-users and within budget.

  • Conduct end-user training

  • Review & Prepare project documents (including but not limited to user stories, design specification, test plan, test case, test results, training material), monitor project matters daily and report status on agreed interval with proper documentation to ensure all assigned tasks / projects are delivered with quality and on time.

  • Resolve problems escalated from the team and proactively manage all the potential risks on projects and recommend mitigating measures if required.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis, solution design & evaluation, project management, system testing in the insurance industry

  • Proven ability to lead delivery of medium projects

  • Experience in Agile and Agile Toolsets (JIRA) would be an advantage

  • Versatile and knowledgeable in operations, processes and Agile projects

  • Fast learner with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Logical, numerical sensitive, proactive and attentive to details

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for Senior Officer
