Casual is an award-winning video and animation production group with offices around the world.
We’re looking for an exciting, experienced and dynamic Producer to join our Hong Kong office in a full time in-house permanent role.
This is a great opportunity to work across a range of B2B and consumer-facing brands and get a 360 view of the production process from pitching to post. You’ll work closely with our Senior Producers and our Executive Producer in Hong Kong, and be part of a talented production and post-production team.
This position is based in our Lai Chi Kok office in Hong Kong.

What You'll Actually Do
Build trust, confidence and creatively/financially rewarding relationships with our clients.
Take the initial brief often directly with the client or an Exec Producer.
Maintain creative responsibility for a project and that it fits with the clients’ strategic goals.
When appropriate, lead when presenting the proposal back to the client
Ability to handle higher value projects, delivering tangibly better quality videos.
Manage select accounts and support your EP to reach the annual sales/production spend target.
Take responsibility for all the logistics, personnel and communication at the shoot
Where appropriate, direct the shoot
Oversee post production team to ensure post production is timely, on budget and complies with brief.
Mediate difficult situations with and between clients, escalating to the Executive Producer where appropriate.
Come up with innovative and new ways to drive down cash spend while maintaining high production values.
Ability and desire to train and retain skilled staff that support company and client needs.
Expand our freelancer roster using Smart Crew.
Be fluent in the language of the boardroom and the film set and serve as an interpreter and decision maker between all stakeholders.
Demonstrate a proactive approach to winning new work and spotting opportunities.
Review existing production processes, and implement new ones when necessary.
Lead by example, ensuring our clients would describe your personal service as first class.
Contribute to the culture of the company, fostering junior talent, celebrating wins, promoting global collaboration, and owning extra-curricular activities.

Significant experience in managing corporate video productions
