About The Department

The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with client coverage team to originate new transactions to provide one-stop financial solutions to clients
  • Makes credit related decisions within own area of competence
  • Prepare periodic reports related to credit review, limit monitoring, portfolio review and compliance checklist
  • Prepare credit proposal including Risk Evaluation and Yield Justification etc.
  • Work with Relationship Managers in deal structuring
  • Closely monitor the credit risk of clients

Job Requirements

  • University degree holder or above in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or other related disciplines
  • At least 4 years credit analysis experience in corporate banking sector, i.e. local blue chips or mid cap.
  • Sound credit and business knowledge in property market in Hong Kong and China
  • Financial Risk Manager or any risk management related qualification is preferable
  • Obtained Professional level qualifications of Relevant Practitioner under HKMA ECF on Credit Risk Management is preferable
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
