We are looking for an experienced Investor Relations Director to join the expanding team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Dual currency fundraising (USD and RMB fund) from Insurance company, family office and other financial institutions.

Our client is a reputable Asian Private Equity firm in Hong Kong. They recently launched their Hong Kong Office as their Hub and aim to expand the team steadily. They are renowned for their middle east background strong LPs connections.

Description

As an IR VP/ED, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Independently responsible for docking with market-oriented limited partners (LPs), including but not limited to insurance companies, family offices, financial institutions, etc., to build and maintain long-term and stable cooperative relationships.
  • Deeply understand market dynamics and the actual needs of LPs, formulate and efficiently implement customized fundraising strategies, and fully promote the fundraising process of RMB and USD funds.
  • Comprehensively coordinate the planning and implementation of fund roadshow activities, accurately explain the fund's investment strategy, core advantages and past performance to potential LPs, and enhance the fund's visibility and attractiveness in the market.
  • Actively explore and expand new market-oriented LP resources, and continue to expand the fund's investor camp through diversified business development activities.
  • Efficiently manage LP's investment intentions and feedback, respond to and properly handle LP's inquiries and concerns in a timely manner, and provide professional and high-quality service experience.

Profile

A successful IR VP/ED should have:

  • Have more than 10 years of experience in the financial industry, of which at least 5 years are focused on investor relations, fundraising or closely related fields, and have a deep understanding of the cross-border investment industry.
  • Have abundant and high-quality market-oriented LP resources, have successfully established cooperation with insurance, family offices, financial institutions, etc. and successfully completed fundraising projects, and have a thorough understanding of their investment decision-making processes and preferences.
  • Have the ability to independently carry out fundraising work, have successful experience in leading RMB and US dollar fundraising, and be able to formulate and effectively implement comprehensive fundraising plans.
  • Have an optimistic, cheerful and open-minded personality, excellent in communication skills, and be able to communicate with LPs from different backgrounds without barriers and efficiently.
  • Have outstanding business development capabilities, be able to keenly capture potential LP opportunities, and actively explore new areas of cooperation and projects.
  • Have strong innovative thinking, and be able to propose innovative and feasible solutions in fundraising strategies and investor relationship management.
  • Have excellent resource integration capabilities, be good at coordinating various internal and external resources, and provide strong support for fund fundraising and long-term development.
  • Excellent in English proficiency, be able to communicate fluently in English business, and adapt to the cross-border business work environment.
  • Applicants with solid financial foundation and working background in accounting firms, banks, investment banks and other financial institutions will be given priority.
