Reports To: Head of Global Total Rewards

Department: PPL - People

As the Global Total Rewards Manager, you will be the subject matter expert for all direct rewards activities and be accountable for designing, implementing and managing all rewards programmes and processes across multiple locations, to ensure we have the right rewards frameworks, and tools in place, effectively incentivise and recognise high performance to support the Company to achieve business objectives.

Candidates with less experience may be considered as Total Rewards Manager / Lead / Assistant Manager with progression plan for development.

Key Responsibilities

Rewards programmes design and management

  • Design, manage, deliver and implement competitive direct rewards, employee incentive and Group incentive programmes that are aligned across all markets and are in compliance with country specific legal requirements.
  • Identify and respond to the needs of internal stakeholders, from other departments, regional teams to subsidiaries, to clarify the financial, business performance, and behavioral parameters that are to be met and to ensure compliance with external legal requirements.
  • Support the design and delivery of executive compensation programmes.
  • Plan and manage global salary structure development and rewards review including cross-boarder package, localisation and taxation studies and allowances review.
  • Provide support for Reward Committee, including ad-hoc analysis and modelling/ material preparation, review of all temporary and permanent reward change submissions across all employee groups.

Global total rewards advisory and management

  • Advise HR business partners, Regional HR teams or line of business globally and provide COE advice on all direct rewards matters.
  • Review and advise package proposals of senior managers, exceptional and cross-boarder cases.
  • Manage global job evaluation, including BAU salary benchmarking for new positions or changed roles, and ad-hoc job evaluation exercise, manage impact analyses and implementation planning.
  • Support day-to-day rewards operations and ensure data integrity in HR systems.

Management of annual compensation cycle

  • Plan, manage and facilitate annual salary structure, market range review and compensation review by regular benchmarking exercises, market analyses and other cost modelling.
  • Manage annual compensation management cycle, including any releases, enhancements, or improvements of the compensation management technology system.

People development and performance management

  • Lead, manage and support a team of rewards specialists to maintain a high performing team by setting team and personal goals, developing team members with training and managing performance.

Requirements

  • Degree holder with at least 10 years of solid HR experience with proven track-record in compensation & benefits, rewards, and performance management.
  • At least 2 years of experience of managing a team.
  • Experience working in a multinational company with regional or global experience is an advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge of global compensation practices, including salary structures, pay scales, incentive programs and job evaluation methodologies.
  • Excellent project management skills, ability to effectively plan, organise and prioritise multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, attention to details and high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong stakeholder management, interpersonal and communications skills with ability to manage relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently with a timely manner and agile approach.
