Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Department of Chemistry (Ref.:531675) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of administrative work experience. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua); good organizational and interpersonal communication skills; good IT skills; the ability to be attentive to details, and the ability to work independently in a team and handle multiple tasks with self-motivation.

The appointee will assist in programme administration and perform ad-hoc and non-routine tasks assigned by the Department. He/She will also provide general administrative support in the Department, including HR matters and programmes-related enquiries and documentation, and perform any other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
