Job requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Multi-media Design, Exhibition Design or equivalent
• At least 12 years of working experience in designing graphics, amination, multi-media and exhibitions ; having 8 years of working experience in the design team of government museums is preferred
• Proficiency in Photoshop, illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Sketchup(or equivalent) is a MUST

Job responsibilities:

• To prepare design layouts, illustrations, artwork production, photo retouch, webpage, etc. for exhibition and publicity uses;
• To present design concepts and work with curatorial staff/ designers for determining design requirements and modifications to design composition;
• To liaise with museum contractors and carry out on-site monitoring and quality checking of fabrication and printing work in various exhibition venues and output centre;
• To prepare specifications, technical drawings and visual rendering for facilitation presentation and procurement of both 2D and 3D works
• To conduct on-site inspection to the indoor/outdoor displays and maintenance works in various exhibition venues;
• To archive all digital files upon completion of design works for record purpose and to compile different files to prepare exhibition portfolios;
• To assist in multi-media program production and animation using After Effect and photo/video shooting (indoor/outdoor) for enhancing the programme flow and achieving higher quality output
• To perform other duties assigned by supervisors
