- Manage accounts payable (AP) functions and oversee cheque issuance processes.
- Execute payment operations for the company, including reviewing supporting documents and handling relevant banking activities;
- Prepare accurate accounting entries, such as payment vouchers and month-end journal postings, ensuring timely recording of the company’s activities in full compliance with policies, rules, and regulations;
- Handle bank account management and related activities;
- Prepare cash flow forecast and develop plans to meet funding requirements;
- Generate regular management reports; i.e. monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements;
- Prepare quarterly management report and analyze budget cost variance;
- Prepare for annual budget and rolling forecast;
- Assist in reviewing internal controls, policies, and procedures for critical business areas, ensuring proper maintenance of all accounting systems and functions;
- Contribute to accounting-related system development and process improvement initiatives;
- Perform other ad hoc assignments as require.
Requirement:
- Tertiary educated in Accounting or related disciplines; ACCA/CPA finalist or above preferred;
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with prior audit exposure highly desirable;
- Strong knowledge of Hong Kong accounting standards and taxation;
- Proficient in computer applications, with advanced spreadsheet skills;
- Independent, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure;
- Strong communication skills in English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Experience with Yardi software and familiarity with the property investment industry are highly advantageous;
- Immediate availability is highly preferred.
