Manage the new product development (NPD) pipeline to ensure timely, profitable, and market-relevant product launches aligned with business growth targets
Prepare and deliver product samples, conduct internal product training, and maintain an accurate R&D database of trials, ingredients, and related data
Collaborate with cross-functional teams—Marketing, Operations, Procurement—to bring concepts to market and drive the Customer-to-Concept process
Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new product opportunities and develop strategies for market entry
Monitor and evaluate the performance of new products through sales data and customer feedback, and provide actionable insights for improvement
Source new raw materials or ingredients that enhance product quality, reduce costs, or improve production efficiency
Lead product innovation by initiating consumer-driven research, testing concepts, and validating market acceptance
Work closely with manufacturing and suppliers to develop co-pack opportunities and packaging improvements
Present new product concepts and updates to senior management and cross-functional teams to gain alignment and support
Lead and manage cross-functional teams through ideation, development, and commercialization phases to ensure a successful product launch
Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues during product development and adjust project plans as needed to stay on track
Ensure every phase of the project meets quality, timeline, and cost expectations
Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
Degree in Food Science or a related discipline
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the F&B industry, preferably in new product development or food innovation
Strong knowledge of food market trends, particularly in fruits, vegetables, and grains
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Detail-oriented with strong project management abilities
Understanding of food safety, HACCP, and halal compliance standards is a must
Proficient in MS Office applications and Chinese Word Processing
Excellent command of spoken and written English & Chinese
Mature team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
