Chevalier (Construction) Company Limited has actively participated in many development projects in Hong Kong since the 1980s. Those projects include the redevelopment of public housing estates, the Private Sector Participation Scheme for the Hong Kong Housing Authority, construction of school buildings for primary, secondary and tertiary institutes, and a range of commercial, industrial, residential and shopping arcade projects for the private sector.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the fabrication, assembly, installation, and inspection of the modular unit per PNAP ADV-36
• Supervise the production of the modular unit, ensuring compliance with fire-resistant constructions, drainage systems, and other structural requirements
• Monitor and report on production activities
• Manage the production of modular units in the prefabrication factory
• Conduct ongoing inspections at the fabrication workshop located outside Hong Kong

Requirements

• Certificate in Building Services or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from the Construction Industry Council in Hong Kong / Hong Kong Institute of Construction / Hong Kong Polytechnic / Hong Kong Polytechnic University / Hong Kong Technical College/ Hong Kong Technical Institute / Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a skilled worker in the field of Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; or successfully completed a recognized Technician Apprenticeship in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or
• Successfully completed a recognized Craft Apprenticeship with 2 years relevant experience as a skilled worker in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Attained a level of proficiency in Chinese and English Languages equivalent to Secondary (Form 3) Level
