About the job

Based at the The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within F&B Division in Hong Kong, the Assistant F&B Guest Experience Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of guest experiences, on and offline, pre and post arrival within F&B. Also be a F&B Ambassador to build strong rapport with F&B’s regular and VIP guests. The Assistant F&B Guest Experience Manager reports to the Food & Beverage Manager.

As Assistant F&B Guest Experience Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Oversee the F&B guest experience on and offline, pre- and post-arrival
  • Support the outlet managers in leading and overseeing the hostess teams in any aspect
  • Build strong rapport with new and existing, regular and VIP guests in F&B and act as LMO Ambassador
  • Assist F&B Manager in administrative duties and with creating business analysis and reports to find ways to improve and ensure both business levels as well as guest satisfaction
  • Be responsible for the overall SevenRooms operation and related topics, including but not limited to, booking management, guest database ownership and management and related trainings
  • Be the key communication point to maintain transparent communication and to optimize the F&B reservation flow and yield
  • Review and manage F&B’s inventory (available tables), review availabilities and communicate to all necessary departments, outlets, and reservations centre, to optimize yield
  • Handle private room inquiries and bookings for Amber and work together with the kitchen and Amber team to ensure flawless execution of such
  • Collaborate with Assistant F&B Sales Manager and Guest Experience Executive to facilitate any other event & function inquiries and executions
  • Assist F&B Manager to oversee strategic partnerships as well as promotional offers across F&B and their production along side any other Sales & Marketing related matters
  • Follow up on any sales leads and revert to the client within 24 hours
  • Prepare, check and issue BEOs on a timely basis and to communicate any changes via amendments sent out immediately once there are changes
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required by your department head from time to time

As Assistant F&B Guest Experience Manager, we expect from you:

  • At least 3 years' experience in Fine Dining restaurant at similar capacity, Michelin-starred restaurant experience preferred
  • Strong professional presentation and decorum in all guest interactions
  • Exceptional guest service skills, with sophisticated verbal and written communication abilities
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is a plus
  • Passion for providing memorable guest experiences through attentive and personalized service
