Department: Information Technology (IMT)

Key Responsibilities

  • Enable Agile Teams to exchange knowledge and skills with people across the entire organization
  • Drive the outcome that organizations benefit from rapid problem-solving, improved quality, cooperation across multiple domains, and increased retention of top talent
  • Comprised of test engineers and developers interested in advancing these skills thru test automation
  • Define and monitor QA Governance Framework and Build-in Quality practice
  • Define quality measurement (KPI*) to identify quality risks and issues in Agile Team
  • Provide expertise on Testing Strategy and Software Quality Assurance to Agile team
  • Identify, manage, and escalate quality risks, delivery risks, and compliance issues during PI execution
  • Provide guidance to Agile team to resolve quality risks and issues
  • Audit ART QA activities regularly and provide uplift training and coaching if needed
  • Ensure that the PI executed adheres to the Cathay Agile QA Practice

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 year experience in Agile project End-to-end Test Management and Agile@Scale testing
  • Experience in defining and driving the development of the Testing Practice
  • Experience in Functional Testing QA, including but not limited to System Test, SIT, UAT, Accessibility Testing, Browser Compatibility Testing, and Usability Testing
  • Good understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of using different testing technique, like static, specification-based, structured-based, experience-based techniques
  • Good understanding of the potential benefits and problems of applying different test types
  • Proven experience in leading a team of technology professionals
  • Ability to listen and articulate ideas verbally and in written formats to a broad range of audiences
  • Ability to ask probing questions and deliver presentations that have impact
  • Effective leadership skills for large and multiple project testing engagements
  • Strong organizational, writing, and interpersonal communications (assertiveness, consensus building, negotiation)
  • Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging both logic and creativity; strong troubleshooting skills; ability to identify patterns and generate ideas
  • Focus on the end user’s or customer’s needs; ability to set expectations and understand end users’ behaviour
  • Solid experience in business analysis, software development and project management
  • Good business domain and industry knowledge
  • Excellent in written and spoken English
  • Certification of ISTQB/PMP/CISA/ITIL and understanding to WCAG 2.1 with solid examples in test deliveries an advantage
