The Inventory Specialist (IT Department) is responsible for overseeing inventory management processes, ensuring accurate tracking of goods, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. This role involves coordinating with various departments to support inventory accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Inventory Tracking : Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across all locations, using inventory management systems and software.
Data Management: inventory records update, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
Audits & Reconciliation: Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
Receiving & Distribution: Oversee and ensuring proper documentation and quality checks are performed. Coordinate the distribution of goods to various departments or locations.
Reporting: Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, shortages, and overstock situations, providing recommendations for improvements.
Collaboration: Work closely with teams to optimize inventory control processes and reduce costs.
Qualification:
Diploma or above in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred or previous roles in similar positions
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Inventory Management system and Microsoft Office Suite
